Parent & Family Programs
I empower parents to find the confidence, courage, and strength to look within themselves to restore balance in their family dynamic and collectively strengthen our community.
There is nothing more painful than to watch your loved one suffer. I have been through the trenches of struggling to find support and services to help my daughter when her life began crumbling. I didn’t know how to keep her from self-destructing.
As a Parent coach for families dealing with challenging family dynamics, Leanna’s mission is to provide tools and techniques to help their family thrive. We don’t know what we don’t know.
An essential ingredient for a healthy child is a healthy caregiver.
“My biggest takeaway was understanding that my children see, and experience things differently than I do. I thought I understood that before, but I didn’t really. Once this program helped me get out of my own way and realize that there was more I could do to help my entire family, making these realizations became easier. Make no mistake there is plenty of work yet to do, but now I am not afraid to do it. “
Parent Reset Program
The Parent Reset is a comprehensive program for parents looking for a roadmap during difficult family struggles.
Through strategy building, healthy boundary work, objective-setting with realistic expectations, the Parent Reset empowers parents to facilitate the change process in their homes.
In each session, parents will set up goals, build tools, access resources, and create a clear set of implementation techniques to address and work through the situations they are facing. My approach is strengths-based, using innovative parenting practices.
Healthy perspectives and encouragement are essential on the journey to courageous parenting. This is a private, one-to-one coaching program for one or both parents that runs for six weeks, 60-minute sessions.
“This program seemed like a more family-oriented approach to becoming better parents. It was also one of the only things we have not tried yet though I wish it were the first. “
“Coaching, so far, has helped me to focus on my son’s ability and desire to be/do better, and not focus on addictive behaviours as something that was being done to me or against me.”
Youth/Young Adult Coaching
Our Empowerment Coaching guides adolescents ages 13-18 who are experiencing episodes of anxiety or depression, self-esteem, insecurities, substance use, struggles with dynamic living situations, or other situations that interfere with their daily lives and mental wellness.
I use the five basic principles behind motivational interviewing. I work with each client through empathetic listening—adjusting to client resistance—to help them understand and monitor current behaviors, gain conflict handling tools, and support self-efficacy.
Each program includes a series of 6 weekly, 60-minute one-to-one coaching sessions.
